Has anyone used the adapter before? And if so is there a special trick to get it to pair? I'm assuming it should pair with my plantronics ear piece. Since my XPR5550 works perfectly with it.
I just cannot get it to pair..
ideas?

Re: XPR6550 Bluetooth Adapter PMLN5712A
More of an FYI then anything at this point. I bought an HK200 from office max. It instantly paired with my bluetooth module.
I'm interested to try it with one of the higher end ear pieces like the sliver.
I'll report on that if and when I try it. I'm hoping the XPR7550 will pair with anything when it comes out.

Mother has had mucho problems all this BT stuff. Another FSB was just released touting a new firmware version on both the adapters and components. I have yet to reengage that project. I have had to be very honest with my clients and advise that most of this BT stuff they have been putting out is not ready for prime time, definitely not ready for any of my public safety customers to risk a life over.

So here is a question, being the XPR and APX share the same accessory side block, what is the possibility of the PMLN5712 on the side of an APX that doesn't have the bluetooth module or one that is turned off?

I have my XPR7550 paired with a Jabra Easygo, and it works flawlessly. I tried to pair it with a Freelinc Freemic 200 and couldn't get it to work at all.

The 7550 can be picky. Most low end headsets work but very few of the higher end models work. I don't think /\/\ implemented the Bluetooth protocols correctly. The new Plantronics Voyager Legend works great. Loud and clear audio.
