SLR5700 New MOTOTRBO repeater

Post by RFguy »

Looks like Motorola is releasing a new repeater. The SLR 5700

I found some info on the Industry canada REL site. Looks like 1-60 watts, narrowband/wideband analog and MOTOTRBO digital. 406-470 MHz

Here's the FCC info:

Good News. I Hope, the can work in Simulcast and RF Linked.

But I Thing, Motorola needs work in a Simulcast option, and a RF Linked Repeaters.
For a lot of Partners implement IP connectivity, is very expensive and complicated, due the Geography of our region.

Actually we use MotoTRBO terminals, Trbonet software with Radioactivity Italy, simulcast RF Linked Repeaters, and the system work Perfect (SMS, GPS, Private Calls, etc).
