DM4601 Remote Install Question

Hey Guys,

Im in the process of installing two DM4601's in a control room at a local refinery. The only problem is the box for the radio is in another room from the operators and the control heads.

Currently we are using XTL2500's with an interface box from the round connector to a cat5 cable. If possible it would be a hell of alot easier to reuse the existing cable, but with the 4601's using a DB25 connector im not sure if this will be possible.

Anyone got any ideas...cause at the moment it looks like im running two very long DB25 cables otherwise.
