XPR330 and 6350 sample codeplugs?

Post by fogtee »

Greetings all,

I was wondering if anyone has a sample blank codeplug for either of these 2 radios. I bought these for cheap at a ham fest and Id like to get them programmed for my sharkRF hotspot. I have the CPS software from MOL, but the radios are password protected. I was hoping flashing a new codeplug would bypass it. I don't care whats on there now, id just like to add my hotspot freq and talkgroups on there.

VHF? UHF?
Maybe post the model numbers so you get a correct codeplug.

In CPS, Device -> Recover

This will load a factory default codeplug, and get rid of the password.

Back up your tuning data beforehand just in case.

What radios do you own?: XPR5550, XPR7550e

If you have MOL access, download the newest firmware upgrades, install the packages and select RECOVERY MODE. That will basically factory default the radios, wiping out the password.
