Having an issue using latest Astro 25 CPS (16.01.00) and the USB connection under WIN-XP virtual PC inside WIN-7. Seems that it is timing out during the Clone Express operation. Anyone have any experience with adjusting the timers under VIEW/OPTIONS inside CPS? There is a CLONE READ/WRITE TIMER set to 3 seconds, with variables between 3 and 15 seconds. It does say to NOT adjust the timers unless told to do so by Mother M------we dont have any issues with straight Win-XP laptops--
Thanks and Merry Christmas to all!

Why are you trying to run it in the WinXP VM? ASTRO25 R15 and newer supports Windows 7... just run it in the Win7 environment.

Mostly because all of our laptops (over 70) are also configured to run Astro/Saber+XTS3000 plus Astro Spectra plus a specific aircraft programming software (from Cobham/Wulfsberg Inc), and all of those require Win-XP. We may have to explore that option however -

The Astro CPS above version 5.03 is Windows Vista & 7 compatible as well.mustanglane wrote:Mostly because all of our laptops (over 70) are also configured to run Astro/Saber+XTS3000 plus Astro Spectra plus a specific aircraft programming software (from Cobham/Wulfsberg Inc), and all of those require Win-XP. Unfortunately, agency policy is that we are using 5.02 of Astro/Saber+Astro Spectra - they never authorized a move to a later version, and its doubtful that they will. Still, there has to be a method to keep the USB from disconnecting during the programming sequence - may try the timer adjustment and see what happens.
