hello all,
I recently purchased a lot of 5 stubby antennas from ebay advertised as oem xts uhf but the seller said that the color at the bottom is silver or gray...from FWIK the only colors for the uhf stubbys are red, green, and black with grey being the wideband whip right? Please help me identify if these are oem and what band they are.

Thanks in advance!

You're correct on the color coding. From the not so detailed photos, they look OEM. Have you received them yet? If not, perhaps they were mistaken on what to look at specifically?

Re: xts5000 ANTENNA COLOR CODES
Ae you able to test them? I would be very interested to see where they work. Also can you post a high res picture of the Motorola markings and measure how long they are please? They are not the wideband ones as they're way too short.

No we haven't received them and since the seller was unable to verify we cancelled the transaction. Thanks.

Those look like the T-band stubby antennas.

The bases of T band ones are black but the OP reports these as silver or grey, hence the interest in identifying them.

The stubby VHF antennas are white, I would assume that is what they are with some discoloration.

Looking at the pictures and my known UHF tband stubby.. I would say they are one and the same
