Motorola XTL2500 800mHz

Post by Rich0518 »

I have a motorola XTL2500 remote head 800mHz mobile. Originally was flashed to do conventional only, was flashed up, worked for a day or two, now have a "FL 01/90" error code. Suggestions?

I would say a ride to Depot is required, but there might be other options.
Hopefully your flash is legit and you have the sticker on the radio verifying the change in flashcode, if you don't it will probably come back as a conventional only radio.

01/90 is a hardware issue.
Kilgore: Smell that? You smell that?
Lance: What?
Kilgore: Napalm, son. Nothing in the world smells like that.
Kilgore: I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end...
