upgrading my xts 5000 from low uhf band to high uhf band

is it easy to upgraded from as lower uhf band to higher uhf band ?

No.You will have to get a UHF-2 S split 450-520MHz RF board and switch out the rf boards out of the radio.Then,you will need to get the radio's vocon board flashed with a "S"split code plug.

The RF board is $450.00 list.

Very rare to find one used or NOS on the secondary market like here on Bat Labs,RR or Ebay.
