VHF W9 Mid-Power Astro Spectras

Post by NSPD »

I'm working on a project that calls for Mid-Power W9 VHF Astro Spectras in the 146-174 range. I am working on trying to acquire these, but the only reference I have seen to a VHF W9 Mid-Power radio is for a 136-162 split, and I could only find one of those through my searching..

Were factory W9's only made in 136-162 splits?

Got my answer... made in both splits, just somewhat rare apparently.

The rarer of the two is the low split, at least around here, all the agencies were sold high split units.

Low split are great for ham.
