Blowing 1.5 Amp fuse R2001A Monitor

Post by firebug24 »

Hello all

I had problems sometime ago with the oven light going out after a few minutes and haven't used it for about 3 months. I pluged into the AC and immediately blew the fuse.

Any ideas ??????? :o
thanks

Your primary suspects are the Input module (that you plug your line cord into) or the primary transformer.

Having the same problem with a R2001C. I can unplug the primary transformer from the power supply board and no longer blows fuse. I do not have a service manual for this unit.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

I've only seen this once (& I doubt if this is your problem) but disconnect the fan on the back. Also check the xfmr in the LVPS.
