IFR 1200S

Post by rogeld »

New to the board and new to a lot of things.
I was given a IFR1200s and it has seen very little use and it is like new. The options installed are 10, 11.
My question is, How hard and how expensive would it be to install option 12 the IFR.
Rogeld.

see http://groups.yahoo.com/group/marconi_test_instruments ...info there on adding that feature if your 1200S is new enough.
One way to tell is if your duplex gen has the ability to change the output level to high medium and low.
If your 1200s does not have that feature than the Duplex gen, Spectrum analyzer ( forget the exact module name ) and processor board may be too old.

Send a note to Kurt at KG Electronics (google kgelectronics). He's great with IFR1200's. We have bought one from him and had other serviced by him.
