AEROFLEX (IFR) 2975 display reversal problem

Post by denisg »

Hello,

One of our field technicians just informed me that the screen of it's Aeroflex 2975 is totally reversed as if loking in a mirror. It should actually use a mirror to read the screen.

Does anyone has had that kind of problem ?

Thanks,

Sounds like a loose cable between the display assembly and the main chassis, or a loose cable within the display assembly. Those LCD panels have strapping lines to allow them to be mirrored in X and Y to allow for a multiplicity of mounting options.
This is my opinion, not Aeroflex's.

I WILL NOT give you proprietary information. I make too much money to jeopardize my job.

I AM NOT the Service department: You want official info, manuals, service info, parts, calibration, etc., contact Aeroflex directly, please.

I had the same issue. this unit has not been used much. I turned it on one day, the boot screen was normal, I decided to turn it off. instead of turning it off from the back switch, I turned off the power strip. turned it back on I got a upside down boot screen. I turned it off and reseated the card. after that the screen got normal again.
