COM 120B filter options syntax error

Post by mogman »

I am trying to re program the filter options in my 120B
Using the commands given by Wowbanger I continue to get syntax errors, example.
cal:eeprom:ifbw0 "300"
I have tried many different ways but have failed, the syntax error is in the ifbw0 portion of the command.
Thanks

*idn?
syst:sec:stat 0
cal:stat 1
cal:eeprom:opt:IFBW1"15kHz" //15khz or 12.5kHz//
cal:eeprom:opt:IFBW2"12.5kHz
This is what I used when I upgraded to 12.5 kHz filter instead of 15kHz filter. *idn? is use to check connection to COM120B

Hi lc4600,

Comparing with post of Wowbagger, I see main difference is:
cal:eeprom:ifbw... against cal:eeprom:opt:ifbw...
I am curious is that missing from Wowbagger, or it is because different versions of Software.
Anyway, I have another question: Do You know command that can check /read/ ifbw 0, 1, and 2, just like *idn? or others?

Thanks to IC4600 for helping me with the information to Cal my if filters. I tried what you posted and it worked for me and got my IFR back to functioning properly. Thanks again, David
