IFR 2975 MOTHER BOARD PROBLEM

Post by giancom120b »

Hi to all, i have IFR 2975 with motherboard kontron 18020-0000-40-1 locked.
The first problem was this error: UMB upper limit address.
Then he completely stopped trying to reset the bios by not letting me access anymore.

This card have BIOS version M815R117.

we tried to update the bios (R118) but did not start.

can you help me solve the problem.
I would need the R117 version but kontron no longer has it available.

If I change the module and I mount a different version of the instrument is working?

I would also be looking for a compatible part.

Any help is appreciated

What BIOS version do you have on board?

Thank to all

I update you on the situation, maybe it could be useful.
I solved the problem by working on an evaluetion board, by connecting the floppy I was able to complete the BIOS update procedure that was successful.
The UMB error upper limit address is not an error but is an indication of use of the memory area.

Now the instrument works correctly.
