Solution: R-2200/2400 battery

Post by radio_05 »

Having checked over my monitors, both have original lithium batteries, circa 1984-1986.

Time for a change, both were over 3V, but it should be less for me to replace them than when they go in for cal. Never heard of these cells leaking, but replacement would prevent this also.

The replacement is fairly simple, one has to be very careful of polarity, as the original polarity marking is hidden behind foam beneath the battery.

I bought my battery from Digi-Key, part number is " P226-ND "
