I just started getting the following error when saving a codeplug to my hard drive:
"Error Access to path 'APX7000_7500CpsMru.xml' is denied."
I've uninstalled & reinstalled the software, I've also searched the hard drive for that file & it does not show up in a search.
I though that it was some sort of windows file/folder security issue.
This is on a Win7Pro 32 bit PC.
has aonyone ever seen this error & is there a fix for it?
any info would be appreciated!

Try right-clicking the shortcut and selecting "run as administrator." Then read the CP and see if it lets you save it.
The bandsplit is only a suggestion.

Re: APX7000 R07.00.00 error when saving codeplug
I tried Running as admin & I still get the same thing. It's really strange.....no functionality of the software seems to be affected. I can save the CP -- it just gives me that error in the Invalid Fields Report window. I've tried it on a differnet PC & no problems. I just wanted to know if it's a known issue or not. I'm sure there's an application on the PC that is interfering with the CPS but God only know which one of the 100+ apps I've got loaded on it that is causeing this issue.

Try other location for codeplug, e.g. non-system disk (D & etc.).
I am biggest fan of XTS2500 and ASTRO Digital Saber.

tried saving to a thumb drive & no change -- error persists.
