Post by MSS-Dave »

TRBO CPS 8.0 and Tuner 8.5 showed on MOL on 9/8. There is also a new system planner out with the following info...

This system planner will enable the reader to understand the features and capabilities of the MOTOTRBO system, and will provide guidance on how to deploy and configure the system and its components .
Includes 6.25e Direct Mode, IP Site Connect, Capacity Plus, Linked Capacity Plus and OTAP
Ver. 6880309T12-U

P.S Is it just me or does it seem like TRBO is getting more like iDen as time goes on?

Yes. All MotoTRBO uses the same CPS, even repeaters. Firmware revisions are different between some of the models I've noticed. I only have XPR 6580 and MTR 3000 so not familiar with some of the rest.
