XPR8400 squelch adjustment

Greetings.

I have an XPR8400 which does not open squelch until the signal is above .4uv. It is full quiet at that level. Squelch holds open until .3uv. These do not meet the manual's specification. I looked for an adjustment in the CPS, and tuner. I scoured the manuals, too. I have not found reference to adjusting the squelch.

Anyone have an idea on how to adjust squelch?
