Do you charge the battery in the HMN 4084 GPS mic with the XTS5000 on or off ? This one was a NOS never used.

I connected it to the radio with it on an closed it up in the stop all night and now it's charged. It was beeping, beeping and more beeping, so I just left it at the shop.
