XTS500 battery question

Post by olderookie »

ok might be a silly question, I have the NNTN4437B on my radio. It seems a lil heavy. I am wondering if there is a lighter option that is out there. I know the whole OEM vs Aftermarket conundrum, I do side with OEM. I am just looking to get something that might hold a charge a bit longer then this used battery and has less weight to it.
I am not in Motorola country anymore so I have let my knowledge base expire a bit. We use mainly Kenwood trying to move to Harris but I found such a good deal I had to get an XTS5000. I have an Impress charger so I believe that makes my options open pretty well.
I have an Astro Saber and I see plenty of info on that but that is the house radio so I am not in any hurry to change that out.

thanks for any and all advise.

Maybe the NTN9862D. It's the smallest capacity Li-Ion battery (2750 MAh) and is IMPRES. I don't have any size/weight info on it.
