APX4000 Knobs?

Post by arlojanis »

The APX4000 product data sheet says "standard with 2 dedicated control knobs for volume and channel changes." So, what do you get with option QA04865AA 2 knob configuration?

Originally the APX4000 was a single knob radio for volume/channel. You'd push it down to change it's function momentarily. I'm sure you know this. That design sucked! So they offered it in a two knob configuration as an option. I am not on the ordering end of things but my guess is they never removed that option code when they made it two knob only.
