APX7000 bluetooth help

Post by LFD57 »

Hello all, I have an APX7000. It was flashed for Bluetooth but the board and speaker were not installed. I have since gotten both and installed. I have been able to connect to my earbuds and works awesome. I have gotten my hands on a NTN2574B with NTN2572A and cannot get it to connect. Will this not work with an APX? When trying to pair I get “ Bluetooth pairing failed” with a rapid fire beeping indication. Radio programs flawlessly via Bluetooth with the laptop as well.

Verify on the CPS if the bluetooth is setup for LF MPP and Standard. More than likely since your ear buds are working I would suspect that standard is selected.

Located under:
Radio Wide
Bluetooth

LF MPP is Motorola Pairing Protocol and Standard is well standard bluetooth.

Thank you for the help, I did figure it out( or well
Kind of) if I have a non Motorola BT device connected or in the pit list it won’t allow the Moto device to connect. Removing non moto they go right in.

Take care
