I’m trying to figure out what’s the difference between these two products and if the NTN8126 is compatible with the APX6000.

So what’s the difference between these two devices. I currently use a APX6000 portable at work and currently looking at purchasing a backup.

Operations critical devices are not compatible with APX subscribers. You need mission critical bluetooth.
