APX7000 strange issue

Post by fchrist16 »

I got a strange one...I've recently acquired a good APX7000, programmed it up and let it charge overnight. Now in order for it to TURN ON, I have to have an accessory connected. Which setting did I mis-check in order for this to happen? Granted the *last* write I did to the radio last night was with a very low battery. I need to add, it's only a certain codeplug that does this. The codeplug I saved prior to the one in the radio does not do it...They both match except for some *ADDED* channels in the newer codeplug...

External Accessory IS NOT enabled in Radio Wide. Adding an external mic doesn't help, it's only when the programming cable is attached does it start up normally...

Codeplug is 23.00.01
DSP/Firmware is 23.01.00

Thoughts?

I will add this...When HOME MODE ZONE 1 is set to FPP it starts normally. If I turn off the radio down in ANY other zone, it will not boot up unless it has the programming cable attached.
