I have an APX 8500.
In looking at the config it has option G507. Is there any way to remove it from my flash code so that I can put in wideband frequencies for Ham Radio?

I thought (but happy to be corrected) that the marine and ham band frequencies were OK in CPS at 25 kHz. Have you tried?

I can confirm at least on the 8000 marine channels can be in 5kHz with the mandate. Haven’t tried HAM freqs.

I didn’t realize the radio was smart enough to let me do wide band on ham frequencies.
I just added a few ham frequencies and it let me do them wide. Probably should have tried that first.
Thanks!

We made a lot of noise to /\/\ when the flashcode arrived and it was across the whole VHF and UHF spectrum.
They fixed it pretty quickly with a firmware update.
