Great looking install, Mark. Thanks for showing the detail behind the control head. It just goes to show you that clean-looking installations are possible even without going for a console.

Install looks good. A few suggestions - paint the nylon spacers to blend in (Krylon Fusion should work). Also, I wouldn't trust add-a-fuses for a transmit-capable radio...

Typically, a government contractor is *not* someone to trust 8)

While I don't like add-a-fuses on general principle, if it's just for the control head, it's not so bad.

I did the antenna installation myself and the mini UHF connector came pre-crimped on the coax from the factory

Ahh, love that quality battery grounding on the Charger.

OP: if you pull the trunk side wall carpet off from above the battery area there is room to completely conceal a mid-power Spectra/XTL-size radio drawer. I'll post pics later of an install I did that way.
