Where is a good place to connect for ignition control on a 2014 Impala?

Police package yes or no?

I did one for a 2013 with police package wiring - see below:

Remove right front kick plate moldings and pull up carpet to expose the
fuse panel and all of the police package wiring as well as the loom loops
of wires. One of the looms has two wires, a larger red and smaller gage
white wire. The Red is 12 gage +12V hot and the White small gage is +12V
ignition. These can be used for the control head. The control head Black
ground wire can be connected to the Vehicle 10MM ground bolt just
behind the fuse panel on the vehicle body under the carpet.

The above is all i know for now, other than
there is a large fuse panel under the hood
which may have some ignition controlled
+12V fuses. You may also want to probe
around under the dash board with a bright
flash light for another fuse panel. I don't get
many civilian versions if at all. If there is an
OEM console also check for the left or right
side for a fuse panel under removable plastic
panels.
NOTE: Many of these new vehicles are being
built with Mini ATM Low Profile fuses especially
in fuse panels under dash boards due to small
amounts of space in these vehicles.

You can use the ECM IGN fuse under the hood. It's only a 10A fuse.

You could use this to run to IGN Sense inputs on radios. They do not draw much current.
Or use that same fuse to trigger a small relay that becomes switched battery power.
