2002 Ford Explorer Install

First install on a take home vehicle. XTL5000 Mid power remote mount. The rails on the roof make the antenna look off center but it's on center.

Thanks, figured it was a Sti-Co. I wonder what that does to the radiation pattern, if anything?

Hoping OP is still around -

How hard was dropping the roof liner? I have a 2002 Ford Explorer as well and looking to make some holes, but info on dropping the liner is spotty on the internet...

Very simple. Pop the cover on the clothes hanger and use a small flatheads screwdriver to release the tension clips by turning a quarter turn counter clockwise. I was amble to get just enough roof having those released to snake the coax thru.
