Depending on the year, there is a large rubber boot under the brake master cylinder that has been used. I think some guy on here said it was even big enough to run strobe cables through.

I did that to my 1997 K1500...but also ended up drilling a 1" hole right near it. Ended up using both holes for the amount of strobe and power cable that I ended up running (4 strobe cables, lightbar cable, 2 antenna, and a bunch of power). It was tight, but worked.
