CM 300

Post by motisking »

I have units on order. But they are not due to be delivered till 11-14-03. I am also looking forward to the PM 400 mobile with the same ETA.

Programming these units does require special adapters. But they can be programmed thru the MIC jack or the AUX 16 pin connector.

If the CM30O is anything like the GM300, then it may be worth looking into. If, however, it's just a cheaper M1225 radio, then screw it. Unlike some, I like signalling! (MDC1200)

CM300 memory channels

Post by motisking »

OK here is the skinny on the MEMORY CHANNELS.
Up to two of the programmable buttons can be set to ,when pressed, revert to a selectable channel. It gets better...You can also program the same buttons when LONG PRESSED for memory channel store. Giving the user the ability to change the MEMORY CHANNEL as need.

Here is a direct quote from the RSS help index. (Hope this does not violate any copyrights.)

Memory Channel 1 & 2
Selects the Conventional Personality that the radio engages (jumps to) when a programmable button-press is set to “Revert Memory Channel 1” and/or "Revert Memory Channel 2".

Store Memory Channel
Stores the current Conventional Personality that the radio engages (jumps to) when a programmable button-press is set to “Revert Memory Channel 2”.
