Qestions about a cdm1550-ls

I have some questions concerning the number of conventional channels a cdm1550ls mobile can do.

I have heard 16, the motorola website says 160....who is right...

The LS model is 16 conventional only, the rest are truked modes, if you want more conventional you cannot buy the LS model, That kind of sucks doesnt it.

The LS+ is what is available now and it has 160 conventional channels and the voice record board built in.

any way to hack more channels out of a cdm1550 ls....surely there is some way to do it.

Yes, surely. BUT, if you've been following the threads regarding hacking anything on the HT/CDM series, you would realize nothing is easy when it comes to modifying what the radios are factory set to do. It's being worked on...
