TK-2100

Post by motorolamonster911 »

Our fire department just had 8 TK-2100's donated to us.

I figure we can use them for a bunch of stuff like traffic control, brush fires, parking events, ect....

A couple of them are in rough shape, but I plan to disassemble and clean cases pretty good.

Other than being VHF and 2 watts and 2 channels what kinda features are my looking at?

What programming cable/software does this unit use?

Thanks!

Not much. Just simple PL and and you can change the way the montor button works. I have a TK-3101K2 that has 15 ch and lets you change the tones on the fly. I don't think yours can do that. Other then that there just really simple, rugged and small radios. Oh and you can miss around with the power level if you want more then two watts.
