R*I*C*K link receiver??

Post by n3kvp »

Has any one ever tried to use a third Radio GM300 as a link receiver in thru the aux connector on a R*I*C*K? I have a 440 repeater setup and I want to have a VHF 2m link receiver to go in on VHF and Come out on UHF? Is this possible? or do I need a different Controller, Or can I use 2 R*I*C*Ks and interface them in some way?

I was planning on the same project several months ago but never had gotten it started. Since I couldn't find any Motorola docs on the RICK that seem to cover what I wanted to do I start mapping out the RICK Acc. connector and this is what I came up with. I'm not sure its 100% correct but hopefully other members could note correction and I will make changes. Hopefully this is some help to you.

AFAIK the schematic on the Basic Repeater Controller in the GR300/500 Service Manual 6880903Z42-O is the same as the RICK.

Hey,

There is a way that I use but you do have to make some small changes on thr rick and cables.
If you are interested let me know.
