Motorola Battery Eliminator

Post by gtl7001 »

Hi just wondering what people think about the Motorola battery eliminator for a JT1000. Any difference between the OEM product and the aftermarket items? Thanks

After market devices?

We have used a number of different aftermarket
units and if YOU do not increase the watts
above spec they work great.
Going above spec lets some go dead.
They can not take the added heat.

What radios do you own?: AM/FM

becareful what you ask for, some people might try to tell you to use a camcorder battery reversed in series to drop your 13.8 vehicle voltage down to what ever your portable uses.
