HT1000 PROGRAMMING

LOOKING FOR SOME ONE FOR PROGRAMMING A HT1000 VHF FOR ME. THIS RADIO HAS LAW ENFORCEMENT CHANNELS IN IT BUT I HAVE CHANGED CAREERS AND NOW NEED FIRE CHANNELS PUT IN IT. CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME OUT I HAVE NEVER PROGRAMMED ANYTHING OTHER THAN MY WARIS RADIOS.

i do but i hate using DOS

if you hate using DOS then there's not much you can do with your RSS, you can send the radio to some programming shop but it would cost you $$$

Maybe I missed it, but didn't he ask for someone to program it for him?

Personally, have the fire department program it for you. Most departments that I have been around program their own radios.

my department only use's BK radios, but i have to be the odd one.

We took care of it Will, sent another HT1000 back in service to another happy fireman!
