Minitor 3 knobs

Post by DAL-COM »

I would like to remove the vol knob from one M3 and install it on another M3. I can't figure out how to remove the knob. Can someone tell me the trick? If you have to open the case, I will just send it out. I always seem to break the case as I open it.
Thanks.

I would recase the thing completly. The only real way to get the knobs off is to break them off. Usually in the process you do infact break something :)

With this in mind, I have found that it's cheaper in the end to order a full case.

In the end, the shipping costs of getting more parts, paying tax, paying shipping, etc, it all just adds up too quickly.

New front housing should be like $12, and a rear housing around $8. Of course, they won't have lables on them, except for the Minitor IV/III.
