well i have a Saber 2120 channels and am wanting to stick it in a Saber 3 case to get full use of my 120 channels and dtmf.

but im wondering it should swap directly and also what other parts do i need and is the keypad built in to the housing like my Saber 2?

If the radio already has the full 15 button membrane switch on the front shield, you don't need to do anything but swap housings and reprogram the radio as a Saber III.

If it only has a 3 button membrane switch, you'll have to get a new 15 button membrane switch, too, which is typically only available with a replacement shield kit and costs about 70 dollars. You can get just the keypad but you'll have to go through Parts Id to get it. 1-800-422-4210.
