MaxTrac Programming

Are all MaxTracs considered Radius' or is it just certain models of MaxTracs? The reason I ask is that I have the "radmbl" software which says it programs MaxTrac 300's, but when I look in the hex file, I don't see my model number. I don't have my radio yet, but will this be a problem? I know that some MaxTracs say "Radius" below the motorola logo and others say "MaxTrac." I guess I'll find out tomorrow when I get the radio if it works.

RADMBL should not be able to program any maxtrac as far as I have seen,
I have both radius and maxtrac mobiles,
but the software is not interchangeable.
I have to use maxtrac for my maxtrac 300

If it says Maxtrac it needs Maxtrac software. It doesn't matter if it has the Radius or any other name with it.

Same here-

I have both Maxtrac's and a Radius M216. Need different RSS packages for both, which is too bad. Have also run into a Maxtrac with a Radius control head on the front. Had me messed up for a while trying to figure out why the radio was not supported.
