MT-1000 conversion possible/practical ??

MT-1000 conversion possible/practical ??

I have just about decided to go with a MT-1000 portable for ham use (primarily)---however, I would like one with 99 channels and all I have found on ebay were 16 channel---is it possible to upgrade one to 99 channels? Thanks for everyones continued support.

You could change the RF board into a 99 channel housing along with the99 ch controller. I have also used P200 RF boards in the 16 channel housing/controller.
