Kenwood TK690 daul head install

Hi all,
Looking for some help on installing a Kenwood tk-690 dual head !!

my first question is : does anyone know the pinout connection for connecting ext speakers ??? on the radio head

I see one antenna connection on the rear of the radio but I have two different frequency antenni to install ???? guess some type of split ????

Im installing these in a 2004 Yukon

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the TK690 is a Lowband Radio. You said dual head, which means front and rear control head. There would only be one antenna connector for the lowband.

My mistake I should have looked at the radio alittle more :
Its a TK 730(G) VHF

This would be stickly A VHF radio ? it has dual heads but the radio has only one antenna connection. It kinda fooled me !

why would a radio with 2 control heads and 1 RF drawer need more thana single antenna connection???

Seems the local Medic unit wants one control head in the front console and the other control near the rear door for patient care !

Anyways yesterday I put them where they wanted .

Are you still looking for help with the Kenwood? I have done a few of them with the dual heads..

should be pin 10 and 11 on the back of the head. You will need to take the head apart and move the two pin board mount off the internal speaker to the two wire i think brown and green which should be the external two wires.
