This is an on going problem with school buses. NJ had a bunch of companies hit a few years ago (one of them multiple times from what I have heard). A few weeks ago, we had a bus company just across the river in NY get hit for 50 or so radios. Still waiting for a list of S/Ns on that one. Easy targets though. Who locks a school bus?

Maybe they need to outfit the busses with Convertacoms and issue the radios to the drivers at the beginning of the day?

Very good possibility. The South American market is hot for US Motorola radios. I know a guy that buys Syntors and Syntor X like they are going out of style. He ships them down to the Dominican Replublic or Puerto Rico and makes a MINT selling them to taxi companies and such. ($500.00 - $700.00 a radio! For SYNTORS!!! :o )

Same thing happened in Bakersfield, CA a few months back. Someone drove a truck in and literally loaded up hundreds of radios.
