I just purchased a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer and was wondering if anybody had any ideas for lighting/scanner/siren mounts..... I already know I wanna put hideaways in the turn signals and brake lights......and in addition to the strobes, I would like to put in some good LED grill lights... Does anybody know what LED light would mount good behind there..... I would prefer a surface mount LED, only because they are bigger and more brighter....none of the LED grill lights out there impress me....they are either too expensive, too small, or suck for visibility. Thanks for the help----

I agree with Adam. The Whelen TIR3's are perfect. All they need is +12, no external flasher. You just connect the sync wire between the lights and they all flash in sync, both simultaneous and alternating at your choice per light.

Be very careful when drilling out the front turn signals with a hole saw. There are two layers of plastic to go through. The outer layer is regular plastic but the inner ( reflector) turns to a white very fine powder when it is drilled. I suggest having someone hold the lens upside down and then drill it. Also it maybe easier to drill through the outer plastic with a 1 1/2" hole saw then the inner with a 1" hole saw. The predator led lights are too deep to mount in the grill without modifying the grill sub-structure; use TIR 3 or 6's.
