I have programed a x9000 with the 64 channel upgrade, I had no error codes and it works but, when I program it, it says programing blocks 1 - 32, and then it verfies 1 - 32.
to check things I re read the radio it then says reading blocks 1-24, but it will turn out to be 32 - 24, I have three weather channel in it, they will not recieve, but the thing shows no error codes, any ideas
thanks

What radios do you own?: X9000 thru APX

Couple of things...

Did you make a whole new codeplug, or did you just change the inital settings on start up screen (when it asks for the bandsplit etc)?

Even though it may be a pain in the a*s, just make a whole new file. This ensures that all the fields are updated, for both the controlhead and radio. I have done 4 radios, and it has always worked.

I did create a new file for both head and radio, the head went ok, I think this radios original band split was 138-154, I changed it to 146-164, this mabe be it, but I did another and it works find, all jumpers are correct and like I said it programed ok.thanks
