Anyone own one of these? I never hear about them or see any for sale. Someone care to share comments on it? Thanks!

I was looking into getting one for the car for a CDM-1550. I thought it would be great for fire police use since I have the vehicle on scene with me anyway. Then I would'nt need to carry a portable and I could have a high power unit as well, but the cost was quite a bit more than I wanted to spend. I hear it's a nice item to have, but it takes a second or two for the mic. to "aquire" the radio. Who knows, maybe I'll stop being so cheap and get one this year.

HLN3156 = wireless remote spkr mic kit (includes HMN3158 mic and HHLN4125 radio adapter).

you'll also need the HNN9003AR "adapter capable" battery.

these are only available for the HT750 and HT1250 radios (not the HT1550).

One of our services Chief has one for the HT1250. Once it finds it self, it works alright. It has a funny battery, which the Bluetooth attachs to, and supplies the voltage for the unit. It sometimes has a problem with the Motorola standard charger, and he is not able to use the Bluetooth function on his cell phone. A lot of money to get rid of the cord.

I tried a demo unit.

Nice toy, but could be a mongrel to get it to sync in.

once synced had about 20 meters range
