Batlabs Shows you CLONING"yes"
Batlabs gives you all the steps to clone"Yes"
But in your post you SAID that you were in the
MT1000 RSS.We have the MT1000 RSS and
we do not see a cloning function key.
WE do see the F8 function key.
If you are programming (SAY
10 MT1000 radios)all the same models
and same information in each radio,
Then program up the first mt1000 radio
then press F8 to load to 1st Radio
when the 1st radio is programmed repeat
The F8 step for each of the other nine radios
and it is completed.
THE CLONING CABLE does not need any RSS.

No, he said:raymond345 wrote: But in your post you SAID that you were in the

WE do see the F8 function key.
Which is needed to allow the radios to clone.udt wrote:i have both radios set clone from the software
Not a good idea. It will copy the one radio's deviation settings to all the others.raymond345 wrote: when the 1st radio is programmed repeat

WE have programmed the MT1000
for Ten Years with no problems.
So we do not know what you are saying.
We service the radios on a service monitor.
If these radios are programmed away off
the first set of frequecies then you need
to tune again but not too often.
It works for us.We only have ever used the
wideband MT1000.

None... the only thing you want to copy from radio to radio is the mode and signalling data. Anything else is radio specific.indigo wrote:Can someone go into more detail about what specific deviation settings may be copied rig to rig and what to avoid when CLONING radio to radio only?

Cloning MT1000 's with a Cloning Cable
...Also, I guess another question is, what if the radio to be cloned FROM (say 'Unit A'), was a perfectly aligned/tuned unit. I would suspect even if those deviation settings within that perfectly aligned/tuned unit were cloned to another unit (say 'unit B'), that unit B's alignment etc may be/have been been a bit different and the "perfect" (in theory anyway) alignment settings of "unit A' may not be perfect for unit B?
Thanks
