which pin is hot & which is negative????

If the TK-730 uses the same power cable as the TK-630, and I think it does, it actually uses a 6-pin plug. This description is given looking at the plug on the radio, with the locking tab turned down (acc. plug above it). The two pins on the left, 1 and 4, are +12v. The two middle pins, 2 and 5, are ground. The two pins on the right, 3 and 6, are N/C.

The 6 pin plug is for high powered units 2 pin is for models without an "H"
in the model number.
