VHF C9 Spectra with Sys9000 siren unit, 32 channel UHF maxtrac, 4 strobe heads and wigwags in front, 2 strobeheads in the rear, dashmaster mounted in the trunk. Working on remounting a slickstick in the rear deck with intersect lights and arrowstick. VHF MT2000 portable on the front seat, Yaesu VX5R in the glovebox. Lowband GE orion will also be mounted in the front as soon as I get it programmed.

In a previous assignment I had (In a 206L3)...
Wulfsberg "Ultra Comm" with the sys 2000, three "RT's" which is aviation for radio chassis'. 420-512, 120-200, 30-50 mhz. Scan, repeat from band to band, in-band repeat with certain splits. All pls/dpls. 100 Presets per band, dual receivers on each RT (one synth, one xtal "Guard" channel)
Last 30 seconds digital record, (also used for simplex "repeat" in a "store and forward" mode). And DES & DVP. with two keyloaders.
Three scanning receivers, three fixed, so six volumes to set,
two KING VHF AM xcvers, one Military "Uniform" for 300mhz,
All run thru NAT audio panels.
The most flexible (and hard to use) radio system I ever saw.
REALLY COOL tho... about the only thing we couldn't do was CB.
OH, the back up system in case it went dead (and it sometimes did) One PT200 on VHF and one MX360 UHF both "plumbed"into the NAT, with direct connect via compatible helmet plugs just in case.
Survival vest also carried a KING VHF AM and helmet cable as TOWER backup.
We sold the 206L3, but I never got the WULFSBERG installed in the UH1H's & it was too heavy & bulky for the OH58'S.

Home made, hand held Mixing ontroller so that all of this crap sounds good mixed together and comes out of the system. All radio's even the saber repeater's Audio comes out of the car's stereo system.
In the near future I am going to remove the MCX1000 and the maxtrac 800, and some how hook up my mtx800 portable because it is smaller, and i just need it to receive anyway. I'd also like to get my duplexer tuned to reject the 440 Transmit Frequency so I can use both UHF sabers to repeat as well. I also am going to add a BASIC STAMP controller in addition to the Motron unit already in use. This will remote channel changing of the SuperSaber Unit. Which is now going to be the name of that contraption. SynthVoice unit is not out of the question either, But it IS pricey...And I'd probably need more ram.
Laptops/VCR's and DVD players move in and out freely, but are never left in the car for no reason, as they just don't seem to last that long if you bounce them around too much.

Wow, some of you guys' vehicles are loaded with crap.
I, on the other hand, being on a limited budget, and not employed by Law Enforcment, am living happily with what I have in my '94 Ford Escort.
Most occasions: GP300 UHF (GMRS and 423/428Mhz DPW frequency) in change holder between seats, GP300 or GP350 VHF in my hand.
Special occasions: GM300 VHF, magnetic antenna. OR, Maxtrac800 radio. But, when I don't want to be carrying the GM300, I use a battery eliminator, and antenna adaptor to hook the GP350 up to the car.
Nothing special, but who cares! Soon, I'll have an MTX8000 to replace my STX 821, too.....OOOH, I can afford to replace my 1985 equipment with 1995....I'm moving on up!
One thing, I don't have (and never will) is any NEXTEL iDUM garbage....Nexthell interferes to much with my local public safety as it is.

For me, I have that whelen 6 outlet strobe in the back trunk, all hideaway, 4 in front of car, and 2 in back, and 2 halogen wigwag on the back dash, 1 maxtrac uhf, astro saber and nextel holder, bc780xlt, and
switch box for the strobes and radios, nothing fancy hehe. oh yeah, and you open the trunk there is some working lights, and a shotgun under the seat

GM300 VHF 16 ch 40 watt
Spectra A9 110 watt (tuned to 75 watts)
dual band UHF/VHF 3db gain antenna drilled in roof.
Lights:
All controlled by Motorola switch panel
Front:
Whelen Dashmiser II on dashboard
Sound off Satellite at rear view mirror
4 whelen Grille strobes
2 Clear Corner strobes
headlight flasher kit, with custom built addition for OEM fog lts
Rear:
Code 3 dashlaser hung on top center rear window
Sound off dual LED light hung from the dashlaser
4 clear hideaways in turn signals and reverse lts.
Federal signal hideaway siren with 2 100 watt speakers.
I will try to add a picture if I can!
So far, still on original battery and alternator!! heheeehehehe
And yes, I installed it ALL myself ( I do it for a living )

It's not really MY car... well, it is for a week while the normal operator is on vacation, but anyway...
2000 Ford Excursion Limited, V10 Triton gasoline engine, 4 wheel drive. Rebuilt by E-N-G Mobile Systems as an ENG truck.
- Motorola M1225 mobile (UHF)
- Motorola Maratrac mobile (UHF, high power)
- Motorola Maxtrac mobile (800 MHz, high power, two of 'em)
- Icom IC-2800H mobile
- Icom IC-706MkIIG mobile
- Uniden BC780XLT scanner
- Cobra CB radio
- BMS 6 GHz video transmitter
- Pyramid cross-band repeater (connected to one of the Maxtracs and the Maratrac - carry an 800 HT, talk out on UHF with 110 watts)
And a few assorted video decks (DVCPRO, VHS, and S-VHS), audio board, LCD monitors, edit controller and video switcher.
45' pneumatic mast with 6 GHz microwave dish, mast cam, and a 3 dB gain UHF antenna on top. 9 other antennas mounted on the truck itself, some are in use, some aren't. The antenna on top of the mast is what the Maratrac is tied to, so even if you're really far out and can't get a microwave shot back, you can at least talk back on the radio... we were able to talk across 5 counties back to our primary UHF repeater a few weeks ago (and not on a mountain top or anything coverage-enhancing like that).
Neat truck, but it's like driving a ocean freighter and a gas hog, to say the least.
MY car (that the bank holds the title to while I pay them off) doesn't actually have any Motorola stuff... just a Kenwood TK-860, a BC780XLT, and a Yaesu FT-8100R (soon to be an Icom IC-207H).

Heck, if someone else was footing the bill for it, I'd have a vehicle built that would include "all of the above" and a suite of modern digital avionics, too, just for the heck of it. And while I'm at it, I'd have the vehicle built based on the cockpit of a retired (but modern type) fighter jet. A two seater F-16 or F-15, I think.
Functional throttle quadrant on the left, functional steering via the joystick on the right. Powered by a big block Chevy or maybe a Rolls-Royce Merlin. It'd be the most distinctive vehicle on the road.

DAMN!!!!, How the hell do you get a 6million CP spolight that HIGH!!! lol, I wanna know that, wouldnt mind getting one hehehe.
As for those LED lights, its wierdd, those things are so advances these days that it has an effect that looks like its acutally rotating, when its not,
those led are good light, but I agree PJ, its EXPENSIVE, I can imagine buying a full out LED lightbar with traffic advisor on it too, probaly around 3,000 around there, ouchhh lol
