well I searched the internet and found out that they are classified as non re-usable parts as per the Collision Industry Conference association. according to them, if it comes down, a new one goes up. anyone else with any input ?

A custom cut down in size Patriot Light bar , 2 UHF antennas and 1 VHF need to go in. Have 3 cars to do like this. solved the console problem pretty quick and easy. now just had to deal with this.

Headliner solve

Post by JustaBuff »

Well it wasnt as smooth as we wanted but here is what we did. we couldnt just pull it down and then put it up and re-glue, unforunatly its a cardboard type material that forms a wing that goes into place in a groove in the roof line. We Slowly cut away the glue just enough to get the work done that needed to be done. Of course that was after consulting with the customer and explaining that if this didnt work that the new headliner was $385.00 from Ford. We put in a few creases that may or may be perminate but they chose to live with them VS spending the cash on a new liner. Ill post some pics of the final product tomorrow if anyone has an interest. By the way, Reccomend the cast products siren made for this car - alot easier than trying to make something fit.

Cast Products Siren

Post by JustaBuff »

They have it for at least the past 4 years that I know of - We have been using it for about long now. We have done about a dozen detective cars for the PDs since this is a state bid vehicle and its really cheap on there. The Siren mounts up in the wheel well of the Drivers side, forward on the frame with the horn firing out through the lower bumper skirt. it has great projection from that location. takes about 40 mins to install, the Rim and the wheel well plastic must come off.
Part number is SA6001 then you just tell them the year of the car.
