Cloning error message

While trying to clone 2 uhf RDC both version DN, I get the error message "incompatable model numbers" I don't understand, they are both the exact sam model numbers.

HELP!

PS I was able to clone VHF models without a problem

I usually get this when the two radio's are different wattages. Like reading a 45 watt gm300 and trying to clone it into a 25 watt gm300. Just a thought, hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion. So far as I know they are exactly the same radio, same power and model. The only difference is the serial number!
