HI:

Using different combinations of those pins are
for [ Measuring Purposes ONLY ] .

There are [ Alighnment ] DC / Current points that
are used to measure the Voltages, and the Exciter
Current @ that location.

You can do it with a VOM like a simpson 260, or
you would be better off with a test set.

Those are [ Only ] measurement locations, you
still have to [ Adjust ] both the transmitter Coils
and Filters, and the same applies to the Receiver.

If you are unfamilure with the proceedure, I would
strongly recommend the [ Book ] or take it to someone
in your area that has the know how.

Once set up properly, they are pretty fair radios

Note that these are MAXAR radios. I would not touch it with out a manual.
I have some manuals at home, but I am on vacation at the moment.
As I recall there were some problems with grounds inside this unit.
You can get into trouble if the antenna ground is not tyed to the ground pin of the station. We fixed this with some internal jumpers. Its been a few years since I worked on one of these.
Wish you luck, Bernie

You were going to give the band and power level so I could send the alignment instructions out to you, if you like.

manuals if you need some information form them

They also show the metering Test points you
